Grievance & nonretaliation policy
P.R.I.M.E. accepts oral, written, accessible, staff-assisted, and limited online grievances. A grievance is separated from ordinary case notes and may be submitted without retaliation or interruption of services.
Submit a confidential grievanceA person complained about should not investigate or close the grievance. The system records the conflict, supports assignment to an alternate reviewer, and audits all Super Admin access.
The authorized reviewer logs and acknowledges the concern, assesses safety and retaliation, applies interim protections, reviews only information within P.R.I.M.E.'s authority, records an outcome, and provides the next internal or external option.
P.R.I.M.E. will accept a grievance through an effective communication method and provide reasonable assistance, language support, or a paper alternative. A participant does not have to confront the person complained about.
An internal grievance does not limit a person's right to contact a funder, regulator, civil-rights agency, protective agency, law enforcement, court, facility authority, or another external body with jurisdiction.
